Sublimation Pressing Instructions
Heat press is REQUIRED for these transfers, Cricut hand press or hand iron will not lead to high quality press.
Basic Guidelines
Producing quality end products is a matter of suitable substrates, a calibrated heat press, following manufacturer guidelines, testing and practice!
Ceramic Mugs
• Time: 150-210 seconds
• Temp: 350-400° F
• Pressure: 40 psi (medium)
Polyester Fabric
• Time: 30-40 seconds
• Temp: 400° F
• Pressure: 40 psi (medium)
Vapor Apparel
• Time: 45-55 seconds
• Temp: 380-390° F
• Pressure: 40 psi (medium)
Mousepads (polyester)
• Time: 45 seconds
• Temp: 400° F
• Pressure: 40 psi (medium)
Metal
• Time: 60 seconds
• Temp: 375-400° F
• Pressure: 40 psi (medium)
Glass or Ceramic Flat Tiles
• Time: 300-720 seconds
• Temp: 400° F
• Pressure: 40 psi (medium)
Tips | Suggestions
• Start with a lower temp and increase if needed.
• Start with a lower time and increase if needed.
Additional Information
• Wait 24 hours before first washing.
• Turn the garment inside out.
• Machine wash with cold water & mild detergent.
• NO bleach.
• Hang dry on wooden or plastic hangers.
• If machine dried, set for AIR or Low heat ONLY.
• Remove promptly when cycle is completed.
• Do not dry clean. Do not use fabric softener.
